Yes. Not only do we supply and install solar panels anywhere in South Africa, but in Sub-Saharan Africa as well.
There is no “normal sized” house, but we have systems currently installed that vary from 3kW through to 9kW in residences.
Yes, we install solar panels in residences, townhouses, small and large businesses, as well as remote areas including game reserves and parks as well.
We use a metering device, such as an Effergy to monitor and display your usage. This gives an indication of your peak usage and energy consumption.

Your Peak load will need to be checked, and after reducing your consumption through management such a changing heavy bulbs to low energy and LED bulbs, an accurate usage can be calculated. We then remove high energy appliances, such as geysers and Electric ovens to invest in a more economical system.
This means that while using the Electricity through your invertor, the maximum load will be 3000 w. This means that you would need to limit items that draw higher energy such as Electric Ovens, Geysers. Also when using multiple items in the house, if used at the same time will exceed the inverting capability and overload the system.
When you exceed the capability of an invertor over a set period of time, it will go into a fail safe and trip the system. For Example your house is running 1x Fridge ( 150w), Lights ( 100w), TV and electronic equipment ( 100w) = 350w or normal load: You then turn on the Microwave oven ( 1000w), Toaster ( 800w) and hairdryer ( 1500w) at the same time, your system will reach 3650W and overload the system.
No, if you are looking to reduce your electrical bill only by supplying your own power needs during the day through Solar. A battery bank is used if you want to be independent of the Grid or as a back up if the Grid fails.
